Milton Santa Clause Parade :: Comments
We went to this last year and while the kids had fun, they got very antsy to see the "big guy" by the end because it was VERY LONG!!! Did anyone hear if they will shorten it a bit this year? If not, I think we will show up half way thru since it was COLD and LONG last year We also sat near the end of the route and many of the people stopped performing by the time it got to us so that sucked...we will try standing in another area this year!
We did not go for the start of the parade last year, we went for the last hour and it was perfect!
I wouldn't mind the length so much if they just made sure everyone actually decorated their entries! So many last year were just a truck or car with a business name on the side, no decorations (or really half-assed decorations).
Fortunately the parade goes right past our house, so we could go back inside to warm up.

DD will be in the parade again this year (with her dance school). They were in two years ago (they only do every other year because of the work involved) and that year they won best float ... they were the princess decorated float with Aladin and Jasmin and the Genie. Not sure what this year's theme will be.
Oooohhh. That's cool. I love floats that you can tell have a lot of effort put into them!
