I am posting this for a friend of mine in Milton.



November will mark 10 years that I was diagnosed with cancer. It’s hard to believe because time has passed by, and life has moved along nicely for my family and me. However, when I think back to my experience, it seems like just yesterday I was given the horrible news, and was undergoing cancer treatments.

I have been in remission for 9 years, and have supported the Edmond Odette Cancer Centre at The Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre ever since. Needless to say, my experience with cancer has changed my life, and giving back to the hospital that saved my life, just makes sense. To date, the Road2Recovery Event has donated over $200,000 towards cancer research!

The 10th Annual Road2Recovery Event is taking place on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 at Le Treport Convention Centre, in Mississauga.
The evening will include dinner, cocktails, silent auction, raffle draw, and entertainment. ALL for $85.
