Archeology Day at Crawford Lake
This looks like a ton of fun. I wish DS was a little older. The archeology digs are free. You just have to pay for parking. Might be fun for some of you with older kids.

Archeology Day at Crawford Lake :: Comments
This would be tonnes of fun! My girls are always digging for treasures! Perfect outing for them! We also just watched the new Ice Age movie too, so a bit of correlation there We have the Conversation Halton Annual pass too
My kids are going to their camp (Way Of The Woods) this week. They did all that stuff at Crawford Lake yesterday. They were full of information at dinner last night! This is their second year at this camp and I can not say enough good things about this camp. Today they are at Kelso swimming and doing Pond studies. If you have a chance and you want your kids to experience a "traditional" type camp but want them home at night this is an awesome camp. Halton Conservation is such a fantastic organization and it's fabulous that it's in our own backyard.
Duckie....how did you sign them up for this camp? Was info available on the website? I would love to look into this for next summer....
Also, do they offer p/u close by or do we need to drop them off at the park? I would appreciate your help with this...

They have pick-ups and drop-offs at schools around Milton. You drop them off shiny and happy and you pick them up at the end of the day tired and dirty (but happy).
My kids are in the older group so tonight they are camping out overnight and having dinner, playing games, making smores and all that. Then tomorrow they are going caving and canoeing. I mean how exciting?!!!!
